How do I know which adapter is compatible with my camera?

Each product page lists compatible camera models. The adapter naming convention indicates the lens mount (first) and camera mount (second). For example, 'LEICA R - SONY E' means it adapts Leica R lenses to Sony E-mount cameras.

Do your adapters support autofocus and electronic communication?

Most of our adapters are mechanical and do not support autofocus or electronic aperture control. This allows for the highest precision and build quality. Some specialized adapters do include electronic contacts—check the product specifications.

What does 'infinity focus' mean?

Infinity focus means the adapter maintains the correct flange distance so that lenses can focus to infinity (distant subjects). All our adapters are precision-manufactured to guarantee infinity focus while maintaining optical quality.

Warranty & Support

What warranty do you offer?

All KIPON products include a 2-year manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This covers manufacturing defects but does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or normal wear and tear.

How do I claim warranty service?

Contact our support team with your order number and a description of the issue. We will provide instructions for warranty evaluation. Approved warranty repairs or replacements are processed at no charge, including shipping.

Care & Maintenance

How should I clean my lens adapter?

Use a soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the adapter body. For mounting surfaces, use a clean lens brush to remove dust particles. Never use solvents or aggressive cleaning agents. Avoid touching optical surfaces if your adapter includes glass elements.

What if my adapter feels tight when mounting?

A snug fit is normal and ensures proper alignment. However, never force an adapter. If excessive resistance is encountered, check for debris on mounting surfaces. New adapters may feel slightly tight initially but will break in with normal use.

How should I store my adapters?

Store adapters in a dry, temperature-controlled environment. Use lens caps on both ends to protect mounting surfaces from dust and damage. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity, which can affect precision-machined parts.
